Cela d\u00e9pend de la situation g\u00e9ographique ou du mat\u00e9riel mis \u00e0 disposition. Nous prendrons donc exemple sur un district habitu\u00e9 aux conditions rigoureuses de l&rsquo;hiver. Le but est d&rsquo;expliquer les diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res de travail de ce district.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;A40 Pont d&rsquo;Ain \u2013 Bellegarde est un axe tr\u00e8s expos\u00e9 aux intemp\u00e9ries hivernales. Cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;autoroute poss\u00e8de sept v\u00e9hicules et douze entreprises sous-traitantes qui y travaillent de novembre \u00e0 fin mars. Ces sous-traitants sont souvent des entreprises de travaux publics ou de transports par benne. L&rsquo;activit\u00e9 tournant au ralenti l&rsquo;hiver dans les TP, ce travail permet aux entreprises de continuer \u00e0 tourner, l&rsquo;hiver, malgr\u00e9 le mauvais temps.<\/p>\n<p>Le trac\u00e9 fait environ quarante kilom\u00e8tres donc il y a un camion pour environ deux kilom\u00e8tres de chauss\u00e9e. Le trac\u00e9 est fractionn\u00e9 en dix circuits, deux v\u00e9hicules par circuit.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 humain, ce sont une cinquantaine de chauffeurs, des m\u00e9caniciens, des surveillants routiers et cam\u00e9ras ( PC ) qui sont sur le pied de guerre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Le travail :<\/p>\n<p>Explications sur les diff\u00e9rentes couleurs de gyrophares.<\/p>\n<p>-Le gyrophare orange indique un v\u00e9hicule hors-gabarit (comme celui des convois exceptionnels). Les camions qui d\u00e9neigent sont des v\u00e9hicules hors gabarit du fait de leur grande largeur. En effet, la lame mesure entre 2,80 et 3 m\u00e8tres . Ce sont aussi des v\u00e9hicules, qui, une fois charg\u00e9s, sont en surcharge. Une surcharge autoris\u00e9e par accord des Mines avec une imposition que l&rsquo;essieu avant soit renforc\u00e9. Tout cela est r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9 sur la carte grise. Donc rien n&#8217;emp\u00eache de d\u00e9passer ces v\u00e9hicules. Le gyrophare orange autorise le d\u00e9passement.<\/p>\n<p>-Le gyrophare bleu indique un v\u00e9hicule qui travaille et par ses \u00e9clats bleus, une demande de priorit\u00e9 aux usagers (par exemple, pour rentrer sur le trac\u00e9 ou pour changer de voie\u2026). Mais la saleuse n&rsquo;est pas un v\u00e9hicule prioritaire, les usagers de la route ne sont pas oblig\u00e9s de lui accorder la priorit\u00e9. D\u00e8s que le gyrophare bleu est actionn\u00e9, cela veut obligatoirement dire que le v\u00e9hicule travaille. Soit il racle, soit il sale, soit les deux. Par temps de neige, cela se comprend mais c&rsquo;est plus dur \u00e0 comprendre quand il ne neige pas. L&rsquo;explication est qu&rsquo;il peut toujours avoir du travail du fait des pr\u00e9ventifs (salage avant perturbations) ou des coups de fort gel. Cette machine regroupe deux modes de travail. Elle charge cinq tonnes de sel qu&rsquo;elle r\u00e9pand par un tourniquet arri\u00e8re. Le chargement se fait par le dessus \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un quai. Elle charge aussi 6 m3 de saumure. La saumure est un m\u00e9lange d&rsquo;eau et de sel. Les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;autoroute pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent le travail \u00e0 la saumure, moins on\u00e9reux et plus efficace avec certaines neiges (comme de la neige s\u00e8che). Mais pass\u00e9 les \u20137\u00b0C, on ne l&rsquo;utilise plus car elle risque de geler. La saumure est \u00e9tendue \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une rampe situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re. Les jets sont orientables et peuvent arroser jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 cinq m\u00e8tres. Tr\u00e8s pratique pour arroser sous les jumelages de camions qui patinent en montant une c\u00f4te.<\/p>\n<p>La lame est pilot\u00e9e avec un petit jostick. Elle est orientable de gauche \u00e0 droite et inversement. Les bas de lame sont en caoutchouc \u00e9pais mais on peut racler avec des bas de lame en acier. Pour cela, on appuie sur le bouton pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 cet effet et deux v\u00e9rins positionnent la lame-fer par dessous celle en caoutchouc. Tr\u00e8s pratique pour les crout\u00e2ges de neige notamment sur les viaducs. La chaleur de la terre \u00e9tant nulle sur un viaduc, la neige a tendance \u00e0 geler plus facilement. La lame-fer sera est privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e \u00e0 une lame en caoutchouc sur une neige gel\u00e9e. Mais l&rsquo;usure de l&rsquo;acier est plus cons\u00e9quente et attention aux \u00e9tincelles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">La chute de neige :<\/p>\n<p>Les autoroutes connaissent avec pr\u00e9cision l&rsquo;heure d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e d&rsquo;une perturbation neigeuse gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 leur logiciel m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique. Donc avant une chute de neige, il est possible de rencontrer des v\u00e9hicules lame lev\u00e9e, gyrophare orange \u00e9clair\u00e9 et saleuse \u00e9teinte. Ce sont en effet des v\u00e9hicules qui patrouillent au cas o\u00f9 la neige arriverait plus t\u00f4t que pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n<p>Quand la neige arrive, il faut tr\u00e8s peu de temps \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;elle adh\u00e8re \u00e0 la chauss\u00e9e. En France, on s&rsquo;en sort toujours plus ou moins bien. En Scandinavie, on roule \u00e0 80 km\/h sur 10 cm de neige. Mais, quand on voit toute cette logistique mise en place pour parer \u00e0 cette \u00e9preuve, c&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;aussi bien les autoroutes que la DDE , font du mieux possible pour traiter les milliers de kilom\u00e8tres de chauss\u00e9e du r\u00e9seau fran\u00e7ais afin de rendre aux usagers de la route, une route parfaite.
