Les camions op\u00e8rent alors localement, et quelques autocars Giraud r\u00e9alisent des tourn\u00e9es de ramassage des ouvriers vers les usines de la zone de Salaise et Roussillon.<\/p>\n<p>En 1975, Michel Giraud prend alors les r\u00eanes de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui compte alors 8 employ\u00e9s et seulement 5 v\u00e9hicules. L\u2019entreprise implant\u00e9e autour de la maison familiale ne cessera alors de croitre, les premi\u00e8res destinations internationales se font vers la Grande Bretagne. Comme d\u2019autres entreprises de la r\u00e9gion rhodanienne, la croissance est fulgurante puisqu\u2019au milieu des ann\u00e9es 80, le parc compte 60 attelages.<\/p>\n<p>Un peu partout en Europe des agences sont ouvertes, Italie, Espagne, Portugal et bien s\u00fbr Angleterre. Les camions sont pr\u00e9sents sur toute l\u2019Europe mais aussi la Yougoslavie, la Pologne. Les transports Giraud r\u00e9alisent alors des transports dans tous les domaines d\u2019activit\u00e9, bach\u00e9s, frigo, benne, plateau et comptent dans leurs clients les plus grands noms des industriels de l\u2019\u00e9poque, Pechiney, Rh\u00f4ne Poulenc, Atochem, Sibille, Lafarge, Total, British Petroleum.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9b\u00fbt des ann\u00e9es 2000 un bureau est ouvert en Tunisie, pendant 2 ann\u00e9es, Eric livre et recharge les remorques qui d\u00e9barquent non accompagn\u00e9es au port de Rades. L\u2019ascension des transports Giraud se termine en fevrier 2004.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019entreprise compte alors 200 employ\u00e9s,150 tracteurs et 380 remorques, laissant un go\u00fbt amer \u00e0 beaucoup d\u2019employ\u00e9s qui croyaient dans l\u2019esprit rest\u00e9 familial de l\u2019entreprise. Michel Giraud disparait tragiquement en m\u00eame temps que l\u2019entreprise dont la partie vrac est reprise par les transports Chazot du 42.
