Ils \u00e9taient \u00e9quip\u00e9s de gros r\u00e9servoir \u00e0 gas-oil afin de pas devoir faire d&rsquo;appoint en route et diminuer la perte de temps. La charge des camions n&rsquo;exc\u00e9daient jamais les 3T500, et en d\u00e9class\u00e9s \u00e0 110km\/h, ils en faisaient du chemin !! Deux camions tournaient sur la ligne en permanence, 2 chambres d&rsquo;h\u00f4tel \u00e9taient en permanence r\u00e9serv\u00e9es \u00e0 Orl\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n<p>A 3h du matin, un chauffeur partait de Verdun, vidait et rechargeait \u00e0 R\u00fcsselsheim, et revenait \u00e0 15h30 \u00e0 Verdun.\u00a0 Un autre chauffeur reprenait le camion et descendait\u00a0 \u00e0\u00a0 Orl\u00e9ans. L\u00e0 il se rendait \u00e0 l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel et il attendait un autre camion qui lui remontait d&rsquo;Espagne et rentrait vers 23h \u00e0 Verdun. A l&rsquo;inverse, un autre \u00e9quipage faisait la rotation jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Irun, et un autre \u00e0 Pedrola, ou ils faisaient aussi les pleins.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Deux autres camions tournaient avec le m\u00eame syst\u00e8me pour l&rsquo;usine Opel d&rsquo;Anvers en Belgique.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">A cel\u00e0, il fallait ajouter un camion de r\u00e9serve en cas de panne ou d&rsquo;entretient. Heureusement ces petits Midlum \u00e9taient fiables, et les pannes plut\u00f4t rares. Toutefois, le garage Olloquiegui avait une permanence H24 en as de probl\u00e8me.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Edmond a fait ce travail durant un an, en rentrant tous les jours avec le m\u00eame salaire qu&rsquo;en zone longue.
