Directement h\u00e9rit\u00e9e de la cabine SAVIEM \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 70, la m\u00eame qui a \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9 les Volvo F6, DAF, Magirus, d\u00e9sign\u00e9e sous la gamme J du temps de Saviem, elle devient la S chez Renault. de 110 \u00e0 170cv, puis avec le relookage et la gamme M, 230cv se battent sous le bruyant capot moteur. Car il faut bien l&rsquo;admettre le S n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 fait pour le bien \u00eatre feng shui du conducteur. Par contre, les applications de ce camions sont infinies, du militaire au baba cool en camping car, du livreur de messagerie en passant par des camions remorque grand volume en passant par les d\u00e9panneuse, rien ne lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9pargn\u00e9.
