Le jeune Pere Padrosa est employ\u00e9 par Benet Deusedes qui poss\u00e8des des carrioles et des cheveaux. Depuis toujours, la difference d&rsquo;\u00e9cartement des rails des voies ferr\u00e9es est une b\u00e9n\u00e9diction pour les transporteurs routiers. A l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une carriole il rejoint la gare du Boulou ou de Figueras ou il charge, paille et autres fournitures pour la Catalogne, principalement pour les militaires. A ses 15 ans, en 1923, Benet Deusedes, riche et veuf offre sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 Pere Padrosa \u00e0 la condition qu&rsquo;il prenne soin du propri\u00e9taire jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 sa mort.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Il change le nom de l&rsquo;agence en \u00ab Transportes Generales Pedro Padrosa \u00bb, et obtient \u00e0 16 ans le 26e permis de conduire de la province de Gerone. Il finit ainsi par se concentrer sur le transport du charbon de bois des for\u00eats jusqu&rsquo;aux magasins de Figueres ou par se charger exclusivement de l&rsquo;approvisionnement des casernes militaires situ\u00e9es \u00e0 Castell de Sant Ferran, que l&rsquo;on longe sur l&rsquo;AP7 aujourd&rsquo;hui.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">A la sortie de la guerre civile son parc de camion est des plus h\u00e9t\u00e9roclytes et r\u00e9par\u00e9 avec les moyens du bord. Il \u00e9largit son rayon d&rsquo;action vers le sud ou il charge des tuiles \u00e0 La Bisbal d&rsquo;Emporda et revient avec des vins et de l&rsquo;huile d&rsquo;olive. A la m\u00eame \u00e9poque d\u00e9butent les premiers voyages internationaux vers la Belgique.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">La fronti\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise reste un r\u00e9el frein au commerce dans les ann\u00e9es 50, Padrosa cr\u00e9e une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de transit : InterEuropa qui tente de faciliter les passages en douane. Mateu &amp; Mateu, Tradisa, profitent \u00e9galement de ses services. C&rsquo;est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un mariage en 1961, que s&rsquo;implante dans les Pyren\u00e9es Orientale une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation Padrosa.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">L&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du carnet TIR en 1963, facilitera un peu les op\u00e9rations douani\u00e8res. Si aujourd&rsquo;hui, tout le monde connait les grues et d\u00e9panneuses Padrosa, elles viennent de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque ou Padrosa avait en charge de r\u00e9cuperer des tracteurs agricoles en gare du Boulou. Le transfert vers les camions depuis les wagons n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas simple, une grue \u00e9tait bien plus appropri\u00e9e m\u00eame si les douaniers fran\u00e7ais voyaient d&rsquo;un mauvais oeil cette grue immatricul\u00e9e \u00e0 Gerone.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Toutefois, la position hors EU, permet \u00e0 Padrosa de livrer du materiel electronique, des t\u00e9l\u00e9viseurs jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Moscou d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1970, une v\u00e9ritable prouesse. Parc et personnels ne cesseront de croitre pour atteindre 400 personnes dans les ann\u00e9es 2000. L&rsquo;ouverture de l&rsquo;Europe vers l&rsquo;EST sera toutefois fatale aux transports Padrosa qui cessent leurs activit\u00e9s de transport international en 2012 apr\u00e8s un lent d\u00e9clin, et se concentrent sur des march\u00e9s plus porteurs et vari\u00e9s.
