Une vraie bombe. Esth\u00e9tiquement r\u00e9ussi, le SPECIAL, accuse d\u00e9j\u00e0 le poids des ans. Cependant, il r\u00e9v\u00e8le de nombreuses qualit\u00e9s. Je n&rsquo;ai pas \u00e0 ce jour, trouv\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent en comportement routier, un tracteur \u00e0 la fois souple avec pourtant seulement deux coussins d&rsquo;air arri\u00e8re et dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;une tenue de route exemplaire. En revanche, lors des manoeuvres difficiles et avec du poids, il fallait de s\u00e9rieux biceps pour tourner le volant. Sur routes sinueuses au revetements incertains, il \u00e9tait toujours facile de tenir le cap; la cabine bien que suspendue en quatre points, refl\u00e9tait bien l&rsquo;assiette du v\u00e9hicule. Quelques coups de raquettes \u00e9taient toutefois \u00e0 d\u00e9plorer. Qui dit IVECO, dit forcemment soucis electriques, il aura fallu pas moins de 5 kg de fusibles neufs pour r\u00e9aliser cet essai. ( j&rsquo;exag\u00e8re&#8230;.. \u00e0 peine ) Quelques soucis ont \u00e9maill\u00e9 cet essai : la tringlerie de la p\u00e9dale d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur \u00e0 30 000 kms, l&#8217;embrayage \u00e0 300 000 kms, un coussin d&rsquo;air \u00e9clat\u00e9, par deux fois le retour du gazoil perc\u00e9 et bien sur les in\u00e9vitables fuites d&rsquo;air, mais rien de bien m\u00e9chant.<\/p>\n<p>Cot\u00e9 habitacle, la cabine est petite mais ce n&rsquo;est pas une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation, elle avait de fait, un cot\u00e9 \u00a0\u00bb cocon\u00a0\u00bb home sweet home. Difficile donc de caser les cartes, les documents, affaires perso et caisse \u00e0 provision. Pour peu que l&rsquo;on roule seul, les bagages tiennent sur la couchette du haut, les cartes, atlas et autres, derri\u00e8re le si\u00e8ge passager. ingenieux systeme qui exigeait des nuits courtes car, au del\u00e0 de 4 heures de fonctionnement, les batteries se retrouvaient \u00e0 plat. Les bouches d&rsquo;a\u00e9ration de la cabine \u00e9taient fort efficaces mais mal situ\u00e9es, juste au niveau du cou et des reins, id\u00e9al pour attraper froid. Avec une peinture noire, il se doit d&rsquo;avoir une clim efficace: un bon point pour la clim. De plus, une fine douche glac\u00e9e venait vous lecher les pieds puisque le degivrage coulait au pied du conducteur&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>La visibilit\u00e9 n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas le point fort de ce v\u00e9hicule, la taille des r\u00e9tros degivrants et orientables \u00e0 souhait, palliaient \u00e0 ce d\u00e9faut, un grand store \u00e9vitait l&rsquo;\u00e9blouissement. Une belle tablette escamotable permettait de manger ou d&rsquo;\u00e9crire. Au final, m\u00eame s&rsquo;il a beaucoup vieilli, je ne saurais pas encore aujourd&rsquo;hui resister \u00e0 la sonorit\u00e9 du V8 FIAT \u00e0 condition de ne pas avoir toutefois cette b\u00eate ZF \u00e0 16 rapports, trop court sur la gamme basse et bien trop long sur les hautes.
